So this is kind of a big deal. Food Network asked US, your favorite neighborhood market, to allow their chef contestants to come in and shop for their ingredients in our Barons Market in Temecula! How cool is that? The day was a whirlwind. A bunch of chefs, armed with shopping carts and cash, ran into our store and shopped for ingredients for their food challenge. They shopped for a frenzied 45 minutes and said that they loved our products, our prices, and our staff. It was a fun day and our team did an awesome job helping the chefs find everything. So set your DVR’s for Sunday, November 10th at 9pm and who knows…maybe you’ll recognize a few of us?!

What better way to feature our specialty soda section and awesome Barons ice cream than putting the two together in one amazing summer treat. We’re scooping up FREE ice cream floats this Saturday, June 22nd for kiddos 12 and under. Everyone else can purchase one of our yummy floats for only $2, with the proceeds supporting the Boys & Girls club. Choose from one of the following: Virgil’s Root Beer, Frostie’s Blue Cream Soda, Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Root Beer, or Sprecker Orange Dream. Hope to see you there!
There’s nothing like watching the smile appear on a kid’s face when they try something new for the first time…especially when they love it (and they really didn’t think they would). We have the amazing honor and opportunity to hold on-going healthy cooking classes for patients and parents at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.
So this is cool. The folks over at the Union Tribune came out to one of our Taste Team meetings
