Our favorite local gluten-free Chef, Robina Gaines, will be leading store tours at Barons, Alpine on February 14th at 1pm and Barons, Temecula on March 14th at 1pm. She’ll point out her favorite, go-to gluten-free products as well as talk about her favorite, easy, gluten-free recipes. Chef Gaines is extremely knowledgeable and offers terrific insight on how to shop and cook for people with special dietary needs. So here’s the deal. As you may know by now, every Thursday in our Point Loma offices, we have our weekly Taste Team meetings. This is where we taste, evaluate and price all of the new product samples we receive. It’s a fun few hours filled with lots of eating, lots of talking and lots of laughing (I know, we sometimes can’t believe this is our job, either)
A customer brought us a tub of locally made Majestic Garlic spread and quite honestly, we had no idea what to do with it. The package said it was made with fresh raw organic garlic and was raw, vegan and gluten-free. Well whoop-dee-doo.
